Holiday Cranberry Sauce

This holiday cranberry sauce is sweet and tart! The combination of the cranberries, cherries, and oranges is a perfect pairing for the ham! It is really easy, and doesn't resemble the shape of a tin can either ;)
8 oz fresh or frozen unsweetened cranberries
6oz frozen unsweetened cherries
1 cup orange juice
1 cup sugar or sweetener of choice to taste
1. Combine the fruit and orange juice in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat until the fruit begins to breakdown and thicken.
2. Carefully, taste your mixture and add in sugar to taste. I personally like mine more tart than sweet, but I used about 1/2 cup of agave nectar to sweeten.
3. Let simmer about 10 minutes longer for the sugar to dissolve.
4. Remove from heat, and serve chilled. Mixture will thicken as it cools.
